Attack of the itchy wormy.... and is that magic fairy selling cocaine?

So thought I’d join the blogging revolution – I seem to have been left behind all other recent crazes, such as riding a cool retro bike with a basket, having a sexy boyfriend who wears a cardigan and/or scarf , getting pregnant, buying a house, having a life, so I definitely don’t want to miss the boat on this one!!

Only problem I’ve encountered so far is having nothing to blog about. When you work from home and have a child not much exciting stuff seems to happen. The most exciting thing that happened to me today was getting a phone call from my daughter’s school asking me to come and get her because she was complaining about having worms.
Hmmmm, so even though I had my suspicions I went to school to collect her and of course as it turns out she DOES NOT have worms, she just wanted to get out of school and has absolutely no shame. Meanwhile her mother who happens to get embarrassed very easily (sometimes) is turning a bright shade of red while watching her daughter run around yelling “help me, help me, I got the itchy worms”
Very clever Chelsea, why didn’t I ever think to pull that one when I was at school??????

Just a little something that got me thinking today was fairy floss.
How the hell does it work, it seems to me to be pure magic, is this why it’s called fairy floss? Was it created by magical fairies? Honestly, I bought some today at the cultural fest and the fairy floss making man (or was he a magical fairy in disguise?) tipped some powder into what sort of looks like a cement mixer, I’m assuming the powder was sugar however in light of recent findings it could have been fairy dust or possibly cocaine. Anyway he tips the powder in, waits a moment, then pokes a stick in and then whirls it around a few times and then up comes a massive pink cloud of fairy floss!! I was amazed!! But now I’m just confused, seriously how did he do it?

And now I must leave you as I have to start my evening ritual of staying up extremely late because I don’t want to do the dishes but refusing to go to bed until they’re done. This ritual usually results in me begrudgingly (and very sleepily) doing the dishes at 1am, which results in me not getting to sleep until 2am and then leads me to repeatedly kick myself at 6.30am when I’m walking around like a zombie trying to make breakfast. Night y'all xxx
